How to Increase Server 2003 Partition Cpacity

All computer users know that a hard disk is usually repartitioned into several disk partitions on a computer. Usually, C drive is allocated as the first hard disk partition on a computer, which is worked as a system partition to install and save system programs and data. The rest disk partitions are used to store data. On your Server 2003, you may find such a problem: the C drive is too small, while the other disk partitions are too large. In this situation, you may find that the C drive is full which cannot store more data, while the rest partitions are still empty. What should you do? Do you need to repartition the hard disk?

You Just Need to Increase C Drive Partition Capacity
If you want to repartition hard disk to allocate more disk space to C drive, it may cause unexpected data loss. As a matter of fact, you only need to extend C drive by using partition software Server. This software is available for Server computer including Server 2003, Server 2003 SBS, etc. It can help you extend C drive by shrinking free disk space from other disk partition which has lots of free disk space. You don’t need to backup or move data from any disk partition, since partition software Server provides 100% protection for all data stored on each disk partition.

Step-by-Step Guide to Extend C Drive on Sever 2003
Step1. You can free download partition software Server and install it on your computer. After you start the software, you can right click a disk partition that has much more free disk space and select "Resize/Move" option.
Step2. Move the arrow to shrink the selected disk partition and you can see the free disk space can be shown as an unallocated volume.
Step3. Move the unallocated volume close to the C drive. Right click C drive and choose "Resize/Move" option.
Step4. Move the arrow to increase the capacity of C drive.
Step5. Click "Apply Changes" option to apply all changes to the disk partitions.

Extend Disk Partition on Server 2003
C drive still has a lot of free disk space, but the other disk partition like D drive, E drive, F drive or more? Don’t worry! You can also increase partition capacity of other disk partitions by using partition software Server. Just like the method above, you only need to shrink the partition that has a lot of free disk space and move the free disk space to the disk partition you want to extend. The software enables you to extend any disk partition effectively only within a short time. You can also cancel the resizing process at any time if you want to stop, and the software won’t cause any data loss or damage to your disk partition.
